Wyverstone Cafe

This Saturday 22nd October 2016, from 10am – 12.30pm: APPLE DAY

Every year around this time, along with events up and down the country, we hold a celebration of Britain’s national fruit – the apple.  As well as the usual café, produce and craft stalls, we’ll have lots of locally grown apples to see, taste and buy.  The Hageneth Morris men will be doing their traditional dances and there’ll be apple stuff for the children to do as well.  We’ll have an apple-themed menu and of course our local produce and craft stalls will be here too.  Come along and help us celebrate!  If you can’t make it we are open every other Saturday up until Christmas.  Do come along for a warm welcome and a chance to meet up with people from the area.

Wyverstone Community Cafe and Local Produce Market is a regular fortnightly event held at the village hall in Wyverstone, Suffolk. It is run by us as a business, with (we hope) considerable benefit to the community as well.  We pride ourselves in serving excellent fair-trade coffee and home-baked cakes, as well as our popular bacon and egg baps. We also have local produce on sale in a mini farmers’ market – usually vegetables, eggs and fruit juice, chutneys and jams, and also locally-raised pork, sausages, and lamb, as well as various craft stalls.  Come along and have a taste.
